DR. ALETA WOODS, MS, MED, BCBA, PsyD​

Aleta is a native of South Carolina.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Generic Special Education and a Minor in Leadership from Columbia College, a graduate degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of South Carolina, and a second graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University.  She completed her Doctorate in Psychology in the summer of 2022.  She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2007.  Aleta has worked with children and adolescents with disabilities throughout her professional career including serving as a special education teacher, educational specialist, Autism evaluator, Applied Behavior Analyst, school consultant, and parent/teacher trainer. She returned to the Greenville area in 2013 from Rockford, Illinois where she worked as a private consultant for seven years. Her passion is working with young children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities, including those with complex medical and behavioral profiles. Aleta has four children, ages 11-18.  She enjoys traveling, gardening, wake surfing, and scrapbooking all her family’s many adventures.
